    In my spare time I spent considerable time working with different businesses to help them with their marketing and business development strategies. In a considerably short period of time my sideline was growing as a rapid pace. This led to the birth of I Am Social Media Ltd. in November 2015. I Am Social Media is a business development and marketing consultancy.     I have worked closely with The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT) which aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the bodies of loved ones who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland. The Trust is soley funded by donations and fundraising and over the past year I have been able to use my own personal skill set to raise awareness and in turn a substantial amount of capital for the fund.     Furthermore, I am a Senior Direct Distributor (SDD) of JuicePlus+ products. I was promoted to SDD within 5 days of joining the business.     Denise is a self-employed Digital Marketing Consultant and owner of Digital Den Marketing. She assists businesses to market themselves effectively online.

    Her services include delivering Digital Audits, and developing Digital Strategies with an emphasis on Content Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing. Through implementation, her clients are able to increase their brand awareness, website traffic, consumer engagement, and ultimately improve lead generation and sales.

    Denise provides digital marketing support to businesses on one-off projects and on a monthly retainer basis. She also provides mentors SMEs on various local authority business support programmes, and delivers digital marketing training workshops.

    When she isn’t working she leads an active life. She is a keen runner, likes to sweat it out at body attack and circuit training sessions and is a volunteer youth leader. Denise would say that in her life, there's no time called spare time!

    Through my job role I also get to help deliver the ‘2 Young 2 Die’ schools programme  on behalf of the road safety Charity ‘Brake’.

    I am also affiliated with ‘Young Enterprise’ through work where I visit schools, both Primary and Secondary introducing the business world and world of work to young people in a classroom environment.

    My job is full of challenges and pressure but wouldn’t have it any other way!

    Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern Health Board Area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and AIDS. Our aim is to provide the best quality of life for our patients and their families.

    All our services are provided free of charge and we rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing our special care.  Southern Area Hospice Services relies on 73p in every pound coming from fundraising to enable us to care and support patients and their families. The Fundraising Dept has to raise £2.5 million in 2017 to maintain the level of care currently available. This equates to £208,333 per month, £48,077 per week or £6,849 per day.
