Retailers in a number of council areas across Northern Ireland will be assessed by mystery shoppers during the coming weeks. The aim of the competition is to identify those retailers in Northern Ireland which offer a customer-focused and quality service.
Organised by Newry Junior Chamber, on behalf of the Junior Chamber Northern Ireland region, retailers will be assessed in key areas to include: - courtesy of staff, staff appearance, shop premises, facilities offered, product knowledge, disability awareness and telephone techniques.
Nicola Whyte, President of Newry Junior Chamber stated “this event has been a great success in Newry and for the last number of years a local business has won the first prize at the JCI Ball. This shows how important the role is that businesses play in improving and developing the City of Newry and indeed the Newry & Mourne area”.
The competition is open to both Independent and multiple retail organisations. Winners will be announced at the Londonderry Junior Chamber Nutts Ball on 7th November. Local winners in both categories will be announced locally before the end of October 2009 and presented with a certificate from Newry Junior Chamber.
